Aims and Scope

The Journal of Digital Terminology and Lexicography (JDTL) is an international, peer-reviewed, diamond open access journal devoted to the study of terminology, lexicography, and specialized knowledge in digital environments.

JDTL publishes original research on the design, representation, management, extraction, modelling, standardisation, interoperability, dissemination, and use of terminological and lexicographic resources, with particular attention to digital methods, language technologies, multilingualism, domain communication, and interdisciplinary applications.

The journal welcomes theoretical, methodological, empirical, and applied contributions from scholars and practitioners working in areas including, but not limited to, digital terminology, digital lexicography, corpus-based approaches, semantic web standards, language resources, knowledge organisation, translation-oriented terminology, domain-specific communication, and human-centred language technologies.

JDTL aims to foster dialogue across disciplines and professional communities and to support high-quality, openly accessible scholarship for researchers, practitioners, and language professionals.
